Ep 282 – Eva McGrath Amazing Drummer and Set Dancing in Leicester

This week in The Irish in the UK

In Part 1… We’re in Birmingham spending time with the multi-talented McGraths. Mum and dad, Caroline and Pat have performed together for many years and all their children are following on with their musical talents. We feature Eva who is an amazingly energetic skilled drummer. So much so, that she has toured with Andrew Lloyd-Weber’s production of “School of Rock”.

With a song from Caroline and Pat And some serious drumming from Eva, it’s a Part 1 to get you up and dancing… which leads us on to Part 2…

In part 2… We’re in Leicester at St. Patrick’s Church Hall. It’s a night of Irish entertainment with lots of Set Dancing and great traditional music. Organised by Tony Smith, it’s a tribute and fundraising event to remember those in the community who passed during the Pandemic. Lots of good chat, dancing and foot-tapping music!
