Ep 369 – Manchester Irish Writers and Liverpool Irish Tuesday Club

In Part 1… This year, the Manchester Irish Writers celebrate their 30^th anniversary. Formed by Rose Morris and Arlene Hughes, the group now has many published authors. We join them at the Irish World Heritage Centre as they celebrate with the release of a compendium book, Life and Soul, showcasing the outstanding work of the last 30 years.

At a launch event hosted by Sarah Mangan, Consul General of Ireland, we meet some of the writers and the team behind the book.

In Part 2… It might be Wednesday at the Liverpool Irish Centre but we’re at the Tuesday Group! Celebrating 40 years, we meet up with founder member John McCarthy at find out just what you need to do to keep a supportive club like the Tuesday Group going for so long.

Yet another event supported by Sarah Mangan, Consul General of Ireland, the club shows just how strong the Irish community is in Liverpool.
