Ep 371 – The Northern Community Gaelic Games at Broughton Park in Manchester

We meet up with Sean Hopkins at Broughton Park for the 2024 Northern GAA Games.

This fantastic family event attracts young players from across the country, keeping the traditional Irish game alive in the UK.

Sean Hopkins, the GAA President in Britain and the event’s organiser explains just how important it is to for the Irish community to have this annual competition.

Also at the the games, we meet up with representatives from Fáilte Ireland as they promote their campaign to encourage us all to visit Ireland, especially around Halloween.

We hear from Councillor Jim Finucane of Kerry County Council, Paudie Healy – Kerry Ambassador and Sarah Mangan, the Consul General of Ireland as we celebrate all things Irish.
