Ep 427 Return to Ballina with Gerry Flynn and Bloomsday Celebrations in Northampton

In Part 1… We meet up with Gerry Flynn and the team for the “Return to Ballina” event. Friends and family are reunited in County Mayo at the Great National hotel for a festival of song and dance.

In Part 2… We join Gerry Molumby and other performers at Kingsthorpe Cemetery in Northampton as they celebrate the life of James Joyce through songs and readings.

Joyce’s daughter is buried at the cemetery and we speak to those that remember her.
