Ep 473 – Northern Community Gaelic Games at Broughton Park

This week, we visit the Northern Community Gaelic Games at Broughton Park in Manchester, where young players, coaches, volunteers and families come together to celebrate Gaelic football, hurling and camogie. Featuring teams from across the North of Britain, the event showcases the continued growth of Gaelic games and the strength of the Irish community in the region.

It was also the official opening of Broughton Park’s new full-size Gaelic pitches, marking an important milestone in the development of Lancashire GAA’s new Centre of Excellence. The new facilities provide a permanent home for Gaelic games in Manchester and will help support future generations of players, schools and clubs, ensuring the sport continues to thrive across Northern Britain.
