This week on the Irish in the UK, we visit the Macari Centre in Stoke-on-Trent which provide accommodation for the local homeless population. We talk to Lou Macari about the project and what his plans are for the initiative.
We then chat to Tommy McLaughlin from the Leeds Irish Centre about their plans after COVID-19 restrictions ease. We also chat to a few attendees of the Manchester Men’s Shed which focus on building items such as chairs and drawers.
