Ep 329 – St Marie’s Roman Catholic Church in Rugby

This week, we’re in Rugby at the beautiful St Marie’s RC Church. Famed for it’s amazing architecture, we meet the the community that support the church as they host an “open door” heritage day.

Fr Aji Alphonse is the parish priest. He’s part of the Rosminian Community who serve the church. He talks to us passionately about taking church activities forward.

We also meet members of the Union of Catholic Mothers. They are an active group of parishioners who work within the local community, supporting those that need help.

Cllr Maggie O’Rourke pays a visit too. She’s Rugby’s first Irish female Mayor, and very proud of her heritage.
