Ep 313 – Gala Irish Night at the Salvatorian College, Harrow, Featuring The Kilkennys and Michael Molumby, the Tipperary Tenor

This week, we’re in Harrow, London, at the Fr Francis Jordan Theatre. This fabulous performance space, within the Salvatorian College, hosts a charity fundraising night for “Irish in London-Action Against Hunger”. The charity, formed a few years back, supports people in need and offers a friendly Irish ear to the lonely and those that have little opportunity to meet and talk with other people. We speak to Caroline Gallagher, one of the founders and find out just what they do and how you could help out with this good cause.

Patrick O’Connell and Gerry Molumby from Triskellion Irish Theatre and Concert Productions organised the event, headlined by an energetic performance from Irish folk and ballad band, The Kilkennys.

Also on the line-up is Michael Molumby, the Tipperary Tenor, and Slim Attraction.

It’s a lively evening from classic ballads to foot stamping traditional songs.
