In Part 1… We’re with Leeds Irish Health and Homes at their spring/summer tea dance. It’s also a celebration for the Director of Operations, Karen Mallon, who has worked for the organisation for twenty five years. Karen talks to us about how the organisation has grown over her time there.
Leeds Irish health and Homes is a non-profit organisation and has three core values; Care, Culture and Community. They are part of the fabric of the Leeds Irish community and do so much to support those that maybe need a helping hand and a friendly face.
In Part 2… We’re at St Jude’s RC Church in Wigan celebrating with a Thanksgiving Mass for Canon Patrick McNally, who has served as a priest for 60 years. Originally from Louisburgh, County Mayo, Canon McNally was joined by fellow priests including the Archbishop of Liverpool.
Sarah Mangan, Consul General of Ireland was also there representing the Irish Government, and she explains just what an amazing achievement it is, dedicating 60 years serving the community.
Join us with Canon McNally’s friends and family.
