Ep 339 – Leeds Irish Health & Homes Celebrate Halloween and Meehan’s Bar in Glossop

In Part 1… We’re with the team at Leeds Irish Health and Homes for their Halloween Tea Dance. Taking place at the Immaculate Heart Church Hall, Ant Hanlon, their CEO, chats to us about how they help the local community. We meet volunteers and those that directly benefit from the service. Leeds Comhaltas play for us along with a children’s choir and we have dance music courtesy of Sally Glennon.

In Part 2… Off to Glossop, we meet up with Ryan Meehan. He’s opened an Irish bar, Meehan’s, in the town and talks to us about his family ties to Ireland. Peter Mylett provides the soundtrack for the evening to keep your toes tapping with a mix of new and old tracks.
