In Part 1… We’re at the Brian Boru Club in Wigan, spending time with Maxine Williams as she shows us how to trace your family heritage. Whether you are applying for an Irish passport or want to know more about where you come from, tracing your family line is a great thing to do, and is potentially full of surprises.

In Part 2… We’re at Rossendale Golf Club for the annual Michael Davitt Memorial Golf Day. As well as a round of golf, this is an opportunity to learn about Michael Davitt and his contribution to social reform in Ireland. We talk to Angus Lindsay and Fred Cassidy and hear how Davitt helped form the Ireland we see today.
