Ep 380 – London Irish Vintage Charity Day in Greenford

This week, we’re at Tir Chonaill Park for the annual charity day organised by the London Irish Vintage Club. Now in its 12th year, the event has raised nearly one million pounds for good causes.

We speak with Brendan “Tiny” Vaughan who has organised this day since its founding.

The event supports several charities, including the Kevin Bell Repatriation Trust, which helps bereaved families, bringing those back to Ireland who have died abroad in sudden or tragic circumstances.

We also look back on the life of Tony McGovern, a key member of the club who passed away on New Year’s Day.

A great day of machines, music and dance supported by the likes of Robert Mizzell, David James and many others.
