In Part 1… We’re at the Sacred Heart Centre in Birmingham with the Irish Heritage group. Organised by sisters, Catherine and Mary McManus, the group meets once a month to embrace Irish heritage, from written word, film, music to anything that links the community to Ireland.
With music and performances from Vincent Jordan, Gerry Molumby and John Delahunty.
In Part 2… Rob Lally creates art via ceramic mosaic and is currently exhibiting some of his work at the Smolensky Gallery in Manchester. He takes us back in time to the days of the famous Haçienda club in Manchester as he displays mosaics of the venue’s original membership card and application form.
The Smolensky Gallery exhibits contemporary art and we talk to Joe Wilson, director and founder about Manchester’s vibrant creative scene.
