Ep 411 – Claddagh Association of Adult Irish Dance and Fundraising with an E-Type Jag

In Part 1… We’re in Manchester to celebrate thirty years of the Claddagh Association of Adult Irish Dance.

We speak with some of the founding members and learn just how dancing all through your life is good for your physical and mental well-being.

In Part 2… We’re in Birmingham to meet with Nick Gainsford, senior manager of Provision House, a charity that helps those starting a new life by providing upcycled furniture and homeware, amongst other things.

Provision House has been left a valuable E-Type Jaguar, courtesy of the late Maurice Pope. The plans are to restore it as a community project and then to sell it on to raise funds for this much needed charity.
