Ep 433 – Yorkshire Irish Hub and Michael Davitt Golf Day

In Part 1… We’re at the Leeds Irish Centre for an evening of traditional Irish Activities. The Yorkshire Irish Hub was set up a few years ago and aims to pull together events supported by the Irish community. Recognising that tradition needs to be kept alive, the Hub is set up as a central resource to keep people within Yorkshire informed of existing events as well as creating new ones.

In Part 2… We’re at Rossendale Golf Club for the Michael Davitt Golf Day. Organised by Angus Lindsay, the event has now been running for a decade. It’s not just about golf, as the day celebrates all that Davitt achieved for the Irish community.
