Ep 434 – Alex O’Grady, Young Irish Racing Driver

This week we’re at Burkes Warehouse in Dalston, London, spending an evening with Alex O’Grady, an up and coming racing driver.

Alex who is aged 16 and is still at school in Ireland, has been tearing up the track since he was 5 and won his first championship at the tender age of 9, competing against drivers significantly older than him.

He’s now competing, and winning at GB4 Championship level but needs to progress to Formula 4, all of which costs money.

Alex is a fantastic driver with all the right qualities to make it to the top.

Looking to the future, who knows how far Alex could go but it’s worth noting that there has never been an Irish Formula 1 World Champion Driver. Maybe that’s going to change.
