In part 1, we meet Emma Brickland Ryan, Director of Eurogold Ltd, and hear about the company’s impressive commitment to supporting Claire House Children’s Hospice. Eurogold has raised an incredible £66,000 for the charity, helping to support its vital work with seriously ill children and their families, as well as contributing towards plans for a new hospice in Liverpool.
Emma talks about the importance of giving back to the community and what the support means for Claire House and the families who rely on its services.
In part 2, we head to Haslingden for the Michael Davitt Golf Day, organised by Angus Lindsay. The annual event brings together golfers and members of the community to celebrate the life and legacy of Michael Davitt, the renowned Irish campaigner and founder of the Land League, who spent part of his childhood in Haslingden.
We hear about Davitt’s connections to the town and discover how the golf day continues to bring people together in his memory. It’s a day combining sport, friendship, history and community spirit.
